Erratik artist Ryan Rapsys will be on the television program “On The Road” with Jason Davis this weekend: Sunday May 18th at 10:35pm (KSTP in Minneapolis, MN) and next weekend: Saturday May 24th at 10:30pm (WDIO in Duluth, MN). Here are some of the details from Rapsys’s site:
I will be appearing on a segment of the show “On The Road” with Jason Davis. It airs on KSTP in Minneapolis, MN and WDIO in Duluth, MN. Here’s some details about the show: KSTP: On The Road
The show is centered on the Duluth harbor, and my segment focuses on my recording of sounds in Canal Park and then modifying and composing music with those sounds… I was video-taped and interviewed while playing with some sounds in my studio. The resulting music I used for one of my Sonic Sculptures:
2008: 53 Sonic Sculptures - 10 - March III
It will air on May 18th on KSTP and on May 24th on WDIO in Duluth. Should be interesting…
Be sure to check it out…
Several tracks from Antiquichrome are now available individually right now, right here on:

Antiquichrome || Ryan Rapsys
Deep explorations into microsound electronic ambience. Free-form glitches, bleeps and distortions for the open-minded listener.

Shaking The Rust Internally || Tepetricy
Tepetricy’s first album ‘Shaking the Rust Internally’ includes six tracks beautifully crafted in a state of aggressive euphoria and a bonus music video for the song ‘A Lonesome Night in Triage’.

The-Novus-Arcadia || Ryan Rapsys
“Overall, [The-Novus-Arcadia’s] an immensely enjoyable experience, and it could well become a piece of electronic art that may be a required listen in the near future.”

Tepetricy will be performing at Norm’s in Superior on Friday April 25th. Seazon of the Fly from St. Cloud (myspace.com/seazonofthefly) and Noise Union from Fargo North Dakota (myspace.com/noiseunion) will be sharing the stage. Check out these two great bands and make sure you get there by 10 when Noise Union kicks it off. Seazon of the Fly should be taking the stage by 11 or so and Tepetricy will close off the night. This album could be described as a mix of Brian Eno, Biosphere and Karlheinz Stockhausen, a truely emmersive electronic sound experience, clocking out at just over 60 minutes. If you enjoy some of Ryan Rapsys’s Sonic Sculptures, you will certainly enjoy the sounds in these compositions.
