New tracks include some tunes from the new release by Animal Collective, some new tracks from Huff & Rapsys, as well as a mix of some suprise tracks. A new short film by Christine Latvala and Ryan Rapsys will be playing at the Duluth Playground’s Short Shorts Film Festival. Here is some more info about the film:
A short film satirizing reality television, celebrities and pop culture through parody on several different levels. Written by Christine Latvala & Ryan Rapsys. Music and Sound Design by Ryan Rapsys.
Try to come by and check it out! Here’s a little secret…it’s on YouTube now, but I’m not going to put the link to it quite yet…you should try to see it at the festival if you can!

Huff & Rapsys have finally managed to figure out a way to collaborate via the Internet between Duluth, Minnesota and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and have released a short experimental track on their MySpace page: Huff & Rapsys
The track is called False Prophet - feel free to leave a comment or send a message letting them know what you think! Expect a number of new tracks to periodically pop up on their page in the coming months - Enjoy!

Tepetricy will be joining Frienemy in the studio for the Minnesota Homegrown show on Rockin 101.7 with Tim Ryan out of St. Cloud on Sunday the 18th of January at 9pm. We’ll be talking about our show coming up on the 24th at the Rox in St. Cloud, concepts of our new album and our new horizons with our new manager Dave Jackson.

Tepetricy will be playing a FREE SHOW at the Rock Nightclub in Maplewood (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN) opening for FLAW! Come out to The Rock in Maplewood on Monday December 29th! This is a great band that have been on hiatus for a couple of years but now they are coming back! Just for the holidays, here’s a free mp3 from Erratik artist Ryan Rapsys: Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht! Remix 2008 (3.2mb mp3 file)
It is more closely based on the original melody by Franz Xaver Gruber, composed in 1818 and based on the text written by Rev. Joseph Mohr in 1816. Of course, this version is considerably more modern in arrangement and sound (more of a sound sculpture imitating the melodies). Enjoy!
