Antiquichrome by Erratik artist Ryan Rapsys is now available from CDBaby.com - here is a basic description:
Deep explorations into microsound electronic ambience. Free-form glitches, bleeps and distortions for the open-minded listener.
If you like Karlheinz Stockhausen, Steve Roach, Biosphere, or any other type of experimental ambient electronics, you will certainly enjoy some of the sounds, textures and timbres in this album. This CD is available both as a physical CD and as a digital download. Get more information and listen to samples from the album here.

Antiquichrome, an independent experimental ambient release by Ryan Rapsys from 2004 will soon be available on Erratik Productions, both in CD form and digital form!
This album could be described as a mix of Brian Eno, Biosphere and Karlheinz Stockhausen, a truely emmersive electronic sound experience, clocking out at just over 60 minutes. If you enjoy some of Ryan Rapsys’s Sonic Sculptures, you will certainly enjoy the sounds in these compositions.
Here is a small sneak peak for now, the entire track Snow Falling On A Circuit Board [5.7mb mp3 file]. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more information.

Erratik Productions and composer Ryan Rapsys have been considering the release of the Soundtrack to Craig Blacklock’s Film Minnesota’s North Shore (DVD) (book available here: MNS Book with DVD). It would probably be a double CD consisting of the mostly ambient music accompanying the films and intended for the creation of a soothing, relaxing sound environment.
Would there be interest in this? Should the soundtrack include the natural sounds with the music as well or just be the music alone? This is difficult to decide, since the music with the natural sounds already occurs on the DVD, but there is no version of the music alone available. Any thoughts on this?
All comments on this topic posted here will be strongly considered. Thanks!
UPDATE: The soundtrack has been released! Click below to sample and purchase on iTunes:
